Description
The George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah has a requirement for Durable Medical Equipment Services (DME) The North American Industry Classification System number for this solicitation is 423450. The cost range is estimated to be under $900,000.00. Solicitation packages will be available electronically on or about January 20, 2010. Receipt of proposal will be on or about February 15, 2010. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Prospective offerors are encouraged to view this site frequently for any amendment to the solicitations. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP), solicitation number VA-259-10-RP-0061. The George E. Wahlen Salt Lake City Health Care System, Salt Lake City, Utah, has a requirement for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) services in four regions consisting of counties in Idaho, Nevada, and Utah. The contractor will furnish DME services consisting of, but not limited to; receipt, assembly, delivery, set-up, instruction, pickup, refurbish, and storage of VA owned durable medical equipment for the Prosthetic Service. The contract period shall be for a base year with the Government's option to extend for (4) additional one-year periods.
