- This is a sources sought notice only; it is not a request for quotations or offers. The VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System (VAGCVHCS) is conducting market research to identify potential sources to enter into basic ordering agreements to provide home health care services to Veteran beneficiaries in our area of responsibility. The services requires are: Home Health Aide, Skilled Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and Respite Care. The area of responsibility for the VAGCVHCS consists of the following states and counties: In Mississippi, the counties of George, Greene, Harrison, Hancock, Jackson, Pearl River and Stone; in Alabama, the counties of Baldwin, Escambia, Mobile and Washington; in Florida the counties of Escambia, Holmes, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Walton and Washington. To receive award, Home Health Care Agencies must be licensed or otherwise state-approved or certified by Medicare or Medicaid as a home care provider. Home Health Care Agency personnel shall be qualified in all states in which such personnel provide services. Home Health Care Agencies shall maintain all other licenses and certificates as required by law. The applicable NAICS code for this anticipated procurement is 621610 and the small business size standard is $13.5 Million. Interested parties should include a company profile, including the name of the business, business size and socioeconomic category, such as Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Women-Owned Small Business, Hub Zone Small Business etc. Interested parties should state in their response which of the services listed above they wish to provide, and which of the States and counties they are able to operate in. Interested parties should respond no later than February 3, 2010 at 4:00 P.M. Central Time. This sources sought notice is to assist the VA in identifying potential sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced and posted on this website at a later date, and interested parties must respond to the solicitation to be considered for award.
