- NSN: 5985-01-418-6105 Nomenclature: Antenna Purchase request #0024997580 This notice is to announce that this NSN will be solicited in the near future. This is not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. The Solicitation/Request for Proposal will be forth coming and will be available via the DSCC Website address (URL) is http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp/. The response date referenced above is estimated. Issue date is on or about 02/03/2010, with the Response date on or around 03/10/2010. Approved source: CHELTON (63563) P/N 16-113SSP15,This will be a large firm-fixed price contract. Unrestricted, Other than full and open competition applies; FOB Destination; Inspection/Acceptance shall be DESTINATION. Delivery is 180 days; Various incremental quantities will be solicited from 21-50, 51-100, 101-186. The basic quantity will be for approximately 183 each. All offers must quote on the base quantity. Destinations will be for 2 lines to include one line shipped to New Cumberland, PA. 17070-5001 and one line shipped to Tracy, CA 95304-5000; FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. Adequate data for the evaluation of alternate offers is not available at this procurement agency. The offeror must provide a complete data package including data for the approved and alternate part for evaluation. This is for solicitation purposes only and does not apply for award. While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. NOTE 22. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NOTE 26. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
