- Description
- The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) intends to extend the contract period of the current contract until December 31, 2010 with Capital Consulting Corporation (CCC), a Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Small Business located at 2819 Old Lee Highway Fairfax, VA 22031. The purpose of this contract extension is to provide logistical support for the AHRQ Annual meeting in September 2010. CCC is a service-disabled veteran firm that demonstrated complete success in planning the AHRQ 2009 annual meeting. CCC provided critical on site support to AHRQ staff where they learned the intricate knowledge of how AHRQ is structured and how work is performed at AHRQ. The knowledge gained relating to mission and goals is critical to content formation in developing sessions for the upcoming annual meeting. CCC staff performed critical problem solving skills in helping AHRQ identify electronic solutions for registration, abstract collection and tracking of invitees and attendees. CCC developed a unique set of registration and tracking tools which AHRQ wants to see enhanced this year. CCC gained critical understanding of important timelines, as well as circumstances that may affect our ability to meet strategic goals and objectives. AHRQ Senior Management desires to continue working with CCC this year to further improve the yearly conference.
