- Description
- The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Alaska Volcano Observatory has a requirement for various yagi style, ruggedized antenna and antenna components suitable for external mounting in cold alpine climates subject to snow and icing conditions. The minimum required specifications for these antenna and antenna components will be identified in the forth coming solicitation. The Government anticipates award of a commercial, Firm-Fixed Price type contract. The required delivery date is anticipated to be mid March 2010 and delivery will be made to Alaska, Hawaii and Washington State. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available on the internet on or about 05 February 2010. A formal solicitation is not available for release at this time. This requirement is unrestricted. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220 and the size standard is 750 employees. There is no incumbent contractor. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements. Full funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the Act. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract.
