- This announcement is a Presolicitation Notice only and proposals are not being requested at this time. The National Park Service (NPS) anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) at the beginning of February. The RFP and future amendments will be available, without charge, through www.fedbizopps.gov by entering the solicitation number "N1574100014" in the quick search block. A) Offerors: This acquisition will be solicited in accordance with the requirements of the Small Business Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656 and the Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZONE) Act of 1997. This acquisition will be 100% set-aside for HUBZONE Small Businesses. Only businesses currently certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) as a HUBZONE will be considered by the National Park Service. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238990 and the associated Small Business Size Standard is $14,000,000.B) Brief Project Description: Work consists of but not limited to furnishing and installing new chain link fencing, approximately 1074 feet, around the perimeter of the sludge drying beds in Grant Village. Additionally, sections of the existing fence will be removed, salvaged and replaced. C) Magnitude of Construction: Between $25,000 and $100,000.D) Schedule: Dates and schedules will be noted in solicitation. E) Plans and Specifications: Construction documents to be issued with the solicitation.F) Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price Contract.G) Proposal Evaluation Criteria/Factors: Award will be made to the offeror presenting the best value to the Government. Selection will be based on price and non-price factors.
