- The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is seeking sources for a construction contract entitled Headquarters Building 2010 Office Additions. The office building is in Walla Walla, Washington. This will be a firm-fixed-price contract. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Work is to remodel open cubicle space to create 3 enclosed offices and to modify a supply room. The new office space work will involve the following: add walls to enclose current cubicle areas into three new private offices. There will be minor electrical, fire sprinkler protection, HVAC, and architectural modifications. The supply room work will be minor electrical work, lighting and security card installation and adding a door that includes an ADA compliant door opener. Contractor is required to follow the procedures in the Army Corps of Engineers Safety Manual, at http://www.usace.army.mil/CESO/Documents/EM385-1-1FINAL.pdf. This sources-sought announcement is issued for the purpose of identifying HubZone or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Concerns with the capability to accomplish the work. Only those firms who respond to this announcement by submitting a statement of their current or past technical experience (what the firm has done) and current or past performance (how well the firm did it) similar to or the same as the requirements stated above, will be used in making the determination if the requirement is aside. The North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 236220 and the associated small business size standard is $33.5 million.
