- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 0MS9D901is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is a sole source to Cadence Design Systems, Inc. 2655 Seeley Avenue, BLDG 9, San Jose, CA 95134 this requirement is for one (1) year. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-38. Set-aside: none; associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511210; small business size standard: $25 Million. Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program: not applicable. Allocations System (DPAS) rating is DO-A7. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation, Jan 1999 - Commercial Items applies, with the following specific evaluation criteria to be included in paragraph (a) of that provision: Product offered, price, past performance. The objective of the Cadence-Assura DRC/LVS Design Environment Performance Specification is to purchase software with one (1) year of maintenance and support.
