Description
Justification for Brand Name Only The United States Surface Forces Logistic Center-Medium Endurance Cutters-Product Line, has a requirement for the following NSN: 4320-01-505-1635, Parts Kit, Centrifugal Pump Rotating Assembly with Seals. End use: 413AB 2 X 2 1/2 x 10. Mfg. Aurora Pump, Part no. 7000-8041-630, (Qty 4 kits). It is anticipated that a non-competitive sole source, BRAND NAME ONLY, Purchase Order will be issued for this item to Aurora Pump Inc. or their authorized dealers/distributors who can furnish required parts and ensure the proper fit, form, and function of all its components. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to funish the above items are invited to submit complete information discussing the same in duplicate within within 5 days of this announcement. However, other potential surces desiring to funish other than Auroa Pump Company parts are required to submit the following information: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. physical, funcitonal and serviceability characteristics), or 2) data that the offered parts have been satisfactory manufacturered for the government or the original equipment manufactuurer. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the proposal relative to the above requirements. Conceerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepare in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR, FAC 2005-36,and as a supplemented with additional information included in this notice and FAR PART 6.302-1. This announcements constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotation shall include, proposed delivery in days, pricing for item with shipping included in unit price, the company's tax information number and Duns & Bradstreet number. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely shall be considered by this agency. The NAICS Code for this solicitiation is 333911 and Small Business Set-Aside is Waivered. See Special Packaging and Marking Requirements detailed below: Items must be individual packaged and mark in its own protective box. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are that in effeect through Federal Acquistion Circular (FAC)-2005-31, and FAR subpart 4.12 Annual Representations and Certifications, the use of ORCA is mandatory as of January 1, 2005. ORCA is available through Business Partner Network (BPN), www.bpn.gov. Contractors will use ORCA to electronically submit annual representations and certifications (REP & CERTS).
