- Solicitation GPO-9415 The U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) has a requirement to train members of the GPO workforce on the subject of Quality Management to further develop an effective operation. (See Attachment A for estimated schedule times). Also, t he estimated size for each course is approximately 30 employees unless otherwise recommended in the course development phase. The required training shall be customized to fit the needs of the organization, specifically, customized to apply to the printing industry. This training will take place at the GPO headquarters in Washington, DC. The required training shall be designed to develop the employee in the following areas: BUS 100 Introduction to Lean Manufacturing (1Day) QTY 100 Kaizen, 5S and Visual Controls (1 Day) BUS 102 Kanban and Pull Systems (1 Day) BUS 104 Supply Chain Management (2 Days) BUS 105 Value Stream Mapping Application (3 Days) QTY 101 Lean Six Sigma Overview Application (3 Days) QTY 103 Writing Standard Operating Procedures (2 Days) QTY 102 ISO 9001 Overview (1 Day) QTY 104 Process Based Implementation of ISO 9001 (2 Days) QTY 106 ISO 9001 Auditor Training (4 Days) QTY 105 After the Audit: Continual Improvement (2 Days)
