NAICS Code: 236220, Size Standard is $33,500,000.00. This procurement is being advertised as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Estimated range is $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 with a completion period not to exceed 150 calendar days from notice to proceed. The description of work The scope of work consists of construction of a 3200 Square foot addition to Bldg E3566 to house new functions and to connect it to the adjacent Bldg E3560. Installation of new, and rearrangments of existing, mechanical and electrical systems as well as interior alterations to both Buildings E3566 and E3560 will be required. The Government is proposing using a Best Value approach to select the Prime Contractor. An award will be made to the offeror whose proposal is determined to be the best value to the Government considering both price and technical factors. It is imperative that all small disadvantaged businesses contact their cognizant Small Business Administration Office to obtain Small Disadvantaged Business Certification. Without SBA, SDB certification, a prime contractor nor a federal agency can receive SDB credit when utilizing non-certified SDB contractors/subcontractors.
