Description
The Western Montana Acquisition Zone anticipates awarding a three year (base plus two option years) contract for Mechanical Maintenance Services for Buildings 24 and 46, Fort Missoula on the Lolo National Forest, Missoula County, Montana. The work consists of maintenance and minor repair of mechanical, temperature control, and fire protection equipment at the Lolo National Forest Supervisor’s Office, Building 24 - Fort Missoula and the adjacent offices at Building 46 – “Jailhouse”. Contractor must maintain a Metasys/DDC control systems. The Supervisor’s Office building has a Metasys digital control system running the boilers and controls throughout the facility. Contractor must have the resources and expertise to calibrate the DDC controls on the boiler system and controls in the facility on a regular basis to keep the facility operating controls working properly. When Contractor does the mechanical equipment quarterly inspections, they also calibrate and checkout the control systems running this equipment; Contractor’s mechanics must have the training to work on the digital controls and the motorized damper controls. The operating controls are as important as the equipment being controlled for a properly working system. The control system at Building 46 is a relatively simple thermostatically controlled boiler system with radiators. A site visit is planned for this project. We will meet at the Lolo National Forest Supervisors office, Buidling 24 on February 1, 2010 at 10:00. For further information, please contact Bill Kelley at the Lolo National Forest Supervisor's Office, (406)329-3759, Cell (406)369-4857.
