- Military Sealift Command (MSC) intends to procure contractor services to conduct a sound survey onboard the T-AOE-7, USNS RAINEIR and the T-AOE 10, USNS BRIDGE. The Contractor shall compare the results of this survey to the expected sound levels and analyze the results to determine whether the sound levels are higher than expected and, if so, what may be causing the excessive sound levels. This requirement is being solicited on a sole source basis from Johnson Controls, Inc. of Gaithersburg, MD. This order will be issued on a sole source basis to Johnson Controls in accordance with FAR 13.106(b)(1). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information about the capabilities of other companies will be considered.
