- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a contract modification against contract N00019-09-C-0023 with Bell Helicopter Textron Inc. (BHTI) for the implementation of a mentor-protégé program between BHTI and Aero-Bond Corporation (ABC). ABC is a woman-owned certified SBA HUBZone small business that specializes in manufacturing military rotorcraft composite parts & metal bonded parts. This mentor protégé program will provide the Navy with a qualified source of high quality compression molded composites and highly contoured composite layup. This program will also provide manufacturing improvements to the UH-1Y and AH-1Z airframe and rotor parts in support of America’s warfighter. The modification will be established for one base year and two option years.
