- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR A PROPOSAL. The VA Heartland Network 15 has a requirement for the construction services of Project No. 657-10-108JC, FCA-Replace Uninterruptible Power System, Building 3 at the VA Medical Center, 915 N. Grand Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63106. The Government intends to negotiate the requirement as a sole source service disabled set aside award with CJMS Construction LLC., 7300 Michigan Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63111; Ref: VA-255-10-RP-0167. The sole source determination is justified in accordance with VAAR section 819.7007 as published in VAAC 2008-01. A contracting officer may award contracts to SDVOSB concerns on a sole source basis as a business decision wholly within their discretion. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236220 and the Size Standard is $33.5 Million. The estimated completion period is 120 calendar days after the receipt of notice to proceed. The estimated magnitude of this construction project is Between $250,000 and $500,000. Interested parties are requested to review the above requirements, and submit a statement of interest that must be submitted on or before January 20, 2010. The determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
