- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SEEKS LEASED OFFICE SPACE IN FT. LAUDERDALE, FL STAR #: 9FL2247 The United States Government seeks to lease contiguous office space. The space offered must consist of approximately 32,890 rentable square feet in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and be located near highways and waterways. The space should yield 28,600 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet. The Government will require a total of eighty-nine (89) outside parking spaces to include forty-five (45) spaces for Government vehicles, four (4) spaces for trailers and forty (40) spaces for oversized boat/trailers. The Government prefers an additional seventy-five (75) outside parking spaces for employees and twenty-five (25) outside parking spaces for visitors. The proposed space must be located within the following delineated area: N: Palm Beach - Broward County Line S: Miami-Dade-Broward County Line E: Highway US 1 W: Highway 27 The proposed lease is for ten (10) years, ten (10) years firm, and should be fully serviced. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than December 1st, 2010. The offered space must meet Government requirements for GSA Life and Fire Safety Standards and Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards (ABAAS) Requirements. Consideration shall be based on the area profile, location, and proposed security precautions if the location would be utilized.
