- DESCRIPTION: DESCRIPTION - This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC). The solicitation number for this request is 20181AQ017, and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is set-aside for Small Business. The NAICS 334511, with a size standard of 750 employees applies to this acquisition. REQUIREMENT - The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Wildlife Conservation Office, Region 2 - Albuquerque, New Mexico has a requirement for an Electrofishing Boat, electric start engine, and a trailer on wheels to support their mission. The Government intends to issue a purchase order from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be the most advantageous to the Government, where best value, price, and other factors are considered. Offers found to be technically capable and having acceptable past performance, award will be made to the lowest price offeror. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE - New Mexico Fish & Wildlife Conservation Office, 3800 Commons Ave., N.E., Albuquerque, NM 87109. BID SCHEDULE - Electrofishing Boat, motor/engine, and trailer specifications: CLIN 0001 - Electrofishing Boat: includes 5.0 GPP Console Mount Boat Electrofisher Control Box, Enclosed Kohler Marine GPP Generator (or equivalent), Electrofishing Booms, Steering and Control Console, Fish Holding Tank, pumps and lighting package, Dual Marine Battery Systems with third cranking battery for engine, and a built-in Fuel Tank and storage. There is no need to include the SAA-6 Spider Arrays (or equivalent) as our customer already owns a pair. CLIN 0002 - Engine/Motor: a 2010 Evinrude Engine (or equivalent to model # E150DPXIS) that includes electric start, extra long shaft, power tilt and trim. CLIN 0003 - Trailer: Boat trailer with tandem axel, galvanized roller trailer including spare tire and mount, bunk load guides, 10"disk brakes on both axels with winch strap and LED low profile light kit. CLIN 0004 - Any applicable discounts. CLIN 0005 - Any applicable freight. DELIVERY (FOB) - The delivery location is as specified in the Place of Performance above. LEGAL OBLIGATIONS - The contractor shall be responsible for the observance of law ordinances, statutes, and regulations pertaining contracting with the Government and in accordance with customary commercial practices. Quotations may be submitted by email, fax, or any mail delivery service.
