- SCOPE OF WORK for CONSTRUCTION630-08-118 OPC Medical Gas / Panel Upgrade SCOPE OF WORK 1.2 STATEMENT OF BID ITEMS (STATEMENT OF WORK) A.ITEM I, Repair Roof Phase II: The work scope is fairly well defined and the project will be a lump sum bids with the following work at a minimum required: 1.Replacement of roofing systems of Building #1, (Main Building): Chapel Roof, and Gymnasium Roof. 2.Replacement of existing roofing system of Building # 4,(A/C Building). 3.Replacement of existing roofing system of Building # 5,(Switchgear/ Chiller Building). 4.Replacement of existing roofing system of Building # 2 including lower roof over maintenance shops, (Annex Building). 5.Repair of main canopy at the entrance to Main Building # 1. 6.Extend Rear Parking Lot Security Booth entrance canopy. Walkway Bridges between Building # 1 & 3 and Building # 2 & 3. 7.Replacement of existing Exterior Ceiling System for Walkway Bridges between Buildings #1 & #3. B.Base Bid and Alternates. This project includes the Base Bid and Alternates No.1, No. 2, No. 3, No.4, No. 5, No. 6, No.7, No. 8, No. 9, No.10, No. 11 and No. 12. The Base Bid includes all the work described in Article 1.2 A Statement of Work. Each successive Alternate deletes work from the Base Bid as follows: 1. Base Bid - includes work described in Article 1.2 A Statement of Work. a.Alternate No. 1 - This Alternate is the Base Bid minus the removal of the Gymnasium Roof from Item No. 1 of the Statement of Work. b.Alternate No. 2 - This Alternate is the Base Bid minus the removal of Item 6 of the Statement of Work in its entirety. c.Alternate No. 3 - This Alternate is the Base Bid minus the removal of the Gymnasium Roof from Item No. 1 of the Statement of Work and the removal of Item 6 of the Statement of Work in its entirety. d.Alternate No. 4 - This Alternate is the Base Bid minus the removal of Switchgear / Chiller Building from Item 3 of the Statement of Work in its entirety. e.Alternate No. 5 - This Alternate is the Base Bid minus the removal of Annex Building from Item 4 of the Statement of Work in its entirety. f.Alternate No. 6 - This Alternate is the Base Bid minus the removal of Main Building #1 Canopy Entrance from Item 5 of the Statement of Work in its entirety. g.Alternate No. 7 - This Alternate is the Base Bid minus the removal of Walkway Bridges Exterior Ceiling System from Item 7 of the Statement of Work in its entirety. h.Alternate No. 8 - This Alternate is the Base Bid minus the item #2 Replacement of existing roofing system of Building # 4(A/C Building), minus the item #3 replacement of existing roofing system of Building # 5,(Switchgear/ Chiller Building) and minus the item #4 Replacement of existing roofing system of Building # 2 including lower roof over maintenance shops (Annex Building). i.Alternate No. 9 - This Alternate is the Base Bid minus the item #2 Replacement of existing roofing system of Building # 4(A/C Building), minus the item #3 replacement of existing roofing system of Building # 5,(Switchgear/ Chiller Building), minus the item #4 Replacement of existing roofing system of Building # 2 including lower roof over maintenance shops (Annex Building)and minus the item #5 Repair of main canopy at the entrance to Main Building # 1. j.Alternate No. 10 - This Alternate is the Base Bid minus the item #2 Replacement of existing roofing system of Building # 4(A/C Building), minus the item #3 replacement of existing roofing system of Building # 5,(Switchgear/ Chiller Building), minus the item #4 Replacement of existing roofing system of Building # 2 including lower roof over maintenance shops (Annex Building), minus the item #5 Repair of main canopy at the entrance to Main Building # 1, minus the item #6 Extend Rear Parking Lot Security Booth entrance canopy. Walkway Bridges between Building # 1 & 3 and Building # 2 & 3 and minus the item #7 Replacement of existing Exterior Ceiling System for Walkway Bridges between Buildings #1 & #3. k.Alternate No. 11 - This Alternate is the Base Bid minus the item #2 Replacement of existing roofing system of Building # 4(A/C Building)and minus the item #3 replacement of existing roofing system of Building # 5,(Switchgear/ Chiller Building). l.Alternate No. 12 - This Alternate is the Base Bid minus the item #5 Repair of main canopy at the entrance to Main Building # 1, minus the item #6 Extend Rear Parking Lot Security Booth entrance canopy, Walkway Bridges between Building # 1 & 3 and Building # 2 & 3 and minus the item #7 Replacement of existing Exterior Ceiling System for Walkway Bridges between Buildings #1 & #3. C. Contract Time. 1.Contractor shall achieve substantial completion of the work within two hundred seventy (365) calendar days unless the period of completion is extended by the contract documents. SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED ON OR BEFORE 01/28/2010.
