Description
The U.S. Department of Labor is seeking qualified Design-Build companies to provide services for the design and construction of a new water distribution system at the Anaconda Civilian Conservation Center. The work shall also include miscellaneous site improvements in the form of general landscaping, roads, parking, drainage, reconnection of all domestic and fire protection water taps, and replacement of all mandated fire hydrants.We are looking for firms that will qualify under the Small Business program mentioned in the Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 19. When submitting your response, indicate under which program you meet the criteria. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT for planning purposes only. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. Market reserch is being conducted to determine if there are small busineses with the capabilities and experience to perform the required services. The estimated cost is between $500,000 and $1 million. The estimated period of performance is approximately 6 months. In addition, all prospective Federal contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration which may be located at www.CCR.gov. Your Capability Statement should be written based on this synopsis, herein, which contains all pertinent information for this project. Also, yo ur Capability Statement shall include examples of at least three projects successfully completed that are comparable to the synopsis described above. Further, all prospective contractors should include a DUNS number for your company. NOTICE: As mentioned above, Capability Statements should be concise with pertinent information demonstrated on between 1-4 pages that demonstrate experience required for this design-build project. If the Capability Statement contains narrative of more than 4-6 pages, please send via overnight courier to U.S. Department of Labor/OASAM/OPS, 200 Constitution Avenue, N.W., Room N-4308, Washington, D.C. 20210, attn: Ms. Olivia J. Thorpe, USDOL Contract Specialist. Responses are due on January 26, 2010, 2:00 p.m, EST. Electronic copies of your Capabilitiy Statement can be transmitted to thorpe.olivia@dol.gov. No telephone calls will be accepted or returned. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP).
