Description
NAICS Code: 813920 NAICS CODE: 813920. The United States Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Office of Acquisition Management (OAM) intends to issue a competitive small business set-aside Request for Quote (RFQ) on behalf of EPA's Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP) Biological andEconomic Analysis Division (BEAD) on or about January 19, 2010. The resultant contract will provide laboratory service support for the ISO/IEC 17025 standard accreditation of all three OPP Laboratories, in compliance with EPA laboratory policy. Two laboratories, the Analytical Chemistry Branch (ACB) and the Microbiology Laboratory Branch (MLB) are located at Fort Meade, Maryland. The third laboratory, the Environmental Chemistry Branch (ECB) is located at Stennis Space Center, Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. For each of the three OPP laboratories, the contractor will be the accreditation body and shall: 1.Develop an individual laboratory accreditation plan and propose assessment team members for each laboratory.2.Conduct the accreditation assessment for each laboratory.3.Prepare and submit a final written report addressing the results of each laboratory's assessment.4.Review and respond to each laboratory's responses and corrective actions to the findings in the assessment report.5.Grant accreditation.6.Be responsible for performing all accreditation body activities necessary to maintain each laboratory's accreditation. Provide, during the accreditation cycle, review and assessment plans, document reviews, on-site assessments, report preparation and all other activities that are a part of and required by the accreditation body's accreditation cycle. It is the Government's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract on or about February 26, 2010 for a potential period of performance of one full accreditation cycle (approximately three years).
