Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3ZT919335A002; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-38, effective date Dec 10, 2009; Defense DCN 20091123, amended edition; and AFAC 2009-1030 effective date 30 Oct 2009. This acquisition will be a set aside for small business; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334310. The business size standard is 750 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 5820. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3663. Travis AFB intends to award purchase for: CLIN 0001: NEC Digital Multimedia Projector (part number NP4100-06FL) (1 ea); CLIN 0002: Mounting adapter (part number RPMA195) (1 ea); CLIN 0003: Lateral shift bracket (1 ea); CLIN 0004: CLIN 0004: Install new NEC NP4100 projector with a short throw lens. Install will include: control panel programming, integration with existing components, and necessary cables/connectors between switching unit and projector- projected image will meet existing screen as close as possible. Ensure feed from desktop PC through audio/visual components, to projector, displays clear image on AMX panel (1 ls); CLIN 0005: Lamp (part number NP04LP) (1 ea); CLIN 0006: Yearly Mainenance Agreement to include 24 hours a day technical telephone support, 2 onsite preventative maintenance visits to include all labor and transportation (1 yr); CLIN 0007: Remove glass screen and flip it to correct the image reflection (1 ea). This award will be set-aside for small business. Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions/clauses apply to this solicitation. Answer: A site visit will be scheduled for 19 Jan 10 at 1400pm. If you plan on attending you will need to email me by 15 Jan 10 @ 1600pm letting me know you wish to attend. We will be meeting in the parking lot adjacent to the Travis AFB Pass and Registration Center at 1330 to gather and take accountability, the van will be leaving the visitor center @ 1355 to proceed to the site. You will not need to obtain a base pass because transportation will be provided by 60 CONS. As a failsafe measure you should bring your vehicle registration, proof of insurance in case you have to bring your vehicle on base. Please bring something to write with so you can write down any questions you may have for the customer. You are required to submit all of your questions in writing within 3 days of site visit and all of the answers will be posted on FedBizOps. This is to ensure a fair solicitation process to all potential contractors. You may want to bring additional items that you may need to come up with a more accurate quote.
