- Europe Regional Contracting Office intends to pursue a Single Award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, Personal Services Task Order Contract to provide New Parent Support for various Army locations in OCONUS Europe, (Germany, Belgium and Italy). This contract is intended to be awarded for a base and three (3) option years with a performance period starting 1 Apr 2010. The contract is anticipating 25 Full Time Equivalent (FTE), Home Visitors (HVs) consisting of social workers, marriage and family therapists, or nurses who visit families with children prenatal through three years of age in their homes to assess for risk of child maltreatment and/or family violence, to provide information and support with pregnancy and parenting education, and to develop and build on family strengths. The home visiting program is the key element of the program. HVs will provide parents support and practical information and teach appropriate skills for parenting to enhance abilities to nurture and care for infants and small children. This procurement will be a Request for Proposal, unrestricted full and open. For information purposes, the NAICS code for this acquisition is 621330. Solicitation W9114F-10-R-0005 will be issued on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps.gov) on or about 1 Feb 2010, with an anticipated closing date of 21 days after issue date.
