- NSWC Panama City Division, Panama City, Florida intends to solicit General Dynamics Information Technology, 124 Gwyn Drive, Panama City, FL 32408 on a sole-source basis for Mechanical and Drawing Support for AN/SQQ-32 High Frequency Wide Band (HFWB). This support effort consists of a subject matter expert mechanical technician to assist the NSWC PCD HFWB team in technical matters for shipboard installation of the system. General Dynamics is currently providing services for the AN/SQQ-32(V)4 High Frequency Wide Band (HFWB) Program. Given the complexity of the HFWB and the level of system knowledge required to provide the required quality assurance, testing, and drafting support, General Dynamics currently possesses the expertise, internal technical data, equipment, and experienced personnel necessary to successfully provide the engineering and design services to accomplish all tasking. This is a follow-on contract for the acquisition of engineering services for continued development of a major system of highly specialized equipment, including major components thereof, within the exact meaning of FAR6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). Using any other vendor would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition. Delivery will be the Naval Support Activity - Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7018. A firm-fixed-price order is anticipated.
