- The U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC), Joint Munitions & Lethality (JM&L)Contracting Center, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of the U.S.Army Armament Research Development Command (ARDEC), Benet Laboratories, locatedat Watervliet Arsenal, Watervliet, New York, is conducting a market survey toidentify potential sources who can provide technical support services to Benet Labs underlying support systems; information technology, resource management,and project management. Benet Laboratories is an Army RDT&E facility that istasked to maintain the Armys expertise in technology, design, development,engineering and production and field support for large caliber armamentsystems, consisting of cannons, mortars, recoilless rifles, tank gun mounts,recoil mechanisms, munitions handling systems and tank turret components. Thissupport contract, which will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity(IDIQ) type contract, is vital because Benet Laboratories has numerous on-goinglarge caliber cannon programs requiring contractual technical support in theunderlying support systems to provide the information necessary for programmanagers to meet performance and schedule milestones. The contractor will berequired to provide a specific mix of senior and junior personnel with relatedskills, knowledge and aptitude in the following Benet Laboratories supportareas: a. Information Technology Center Support: Senior Systems Administrator,Junior Systems Administrator, Journeyman Software Administrator, Real TimeSoftware Engineer b.Resource Management Support: Senior Resource Management Assistant,Junior Resource Management Assistant c.Project Management Support: Senior Project Management Assistant,Senior Technical Assistant, Junior Technical Assistant Interested firms who feel that they are capable of performing these types ofservices are invited to indicate their interest by providing a description of their capabilities, within two weeks of the date of this notice to the U.S.Army Contracting Command, Joint Munitions & Lethality Contracting Center,Picatinny, NJ 07806, Attention: Magda Szymanski, Bldg. 9, Picatinny Arsenal,New Jersey 07806-5000, email: magda.m.szymanski@us.army.mil. The Governmentwill only accept written technical questions by email. In addition, pleaseprovide the companys name, address, point of contact with telephone number,email address, and size of business (small/large). Please be advised that thisis a market survey for information only and shall not be construed as a requestfor proposal or as an obligation on the part of the US Government. The USGovernment does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey or otherwise pay for information solicited. Any costs incurred inconnection with this market survey will not be paid for by the government. Inaddition, the Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this Market Survey. Offerors will notbe notified of the results of this survey or results of information submitted.
