- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 05 January 2010 The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Contracting Center, Natick Contracting Division has a Synopsis/Solicitation requirement for the manufacture and delivery of: Synopsis/Solicitation: COMPLETE PARACHUTE SYSTEM: JALBERT PARAFOIL 282 C8882 MAIN CANOPY (COLOR, SEE ATTACHMENT) and RAVEN SUPER RESERVE C8254 RESERVE CANOPY (COLOR, SEE ATTACHMENT) and TALON FS RIGGING INNOVATIONS INC P/N R1065 (SOLID BLACK, SEE ATTACHMENT) Quantity, 5 each. The Government anticipates that this acquisition will result in a Firm Fixed Price Request for Quote for a commercial item. The North American Industry Classification System is NAICS: 314999, All Other Miscellaneous Textiles Product Mills. This is advertised as a 100% Small Business. Set Aside. Shipping requirement is F.O.B. Origin. DCMA will arrange shipping from vendor facility to the FMS customer. Delivery is to be completed within 120 days of award. Delivery shall be F.O.B.
