- NASA/KSC has a requirement to renew the support and maintenance services for CitectSCADA software. These services are required for one year.NASA/KSC intends to purchase the items from Blackburn Controls, Inc. of Kissimmee, FLpursuant to FAR 13.106(b). NASA/KSC requires support and integration for the existingCitect SCADA software that is utilized in the Kennedy Complex Control System (KCCS) atthe Kennedy Space Center. Blackburn Controls, Inc. is the local authorized reseller forthis system.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to Jessica.r.paglialonga@nasa.gov not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeon January 22, 2010. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for thepurpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
