- The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) in Milwaukee, WI is soliciting quotes for inspections and testing of the emergency showers and eyewash stations. Services shall be provided at the Clemet J Zablocki VA Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI. Solicitation is for the base period of April 1, 2010 through September 30, 2010, with four (4) option years. This is a Firm Fixed Price contract and is 100% total small business set aside under NAICS: 541990, Size Standard is $7.0 million. All responsible sources may submit an offer. The solicitation and specifications will be issued and made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments to this solicitation will also be available at the URL addresses. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. No telephone calls will be accepted. Note: a pre-solicitation notice and solicitation document were posted to FBO on 1/6/2010 and 1/7/2010 respectively. These documents were removed from FBO and were replaced. Offerors are required to make sure they have the correct solicitation document, which indicates Price as the first evaluation factor, Technical experience as the second evaluation factor, and past performance as the third evaluation factor under FAR Clause 52.212-2..
