- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written (formal) solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number M67854-Q-8032 in accordance with FAR Parts 12.6 & 13.5. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-34, effective 01July 2009. The Explosives Ordnance Disposal Team at Twenty-Nine Palms, CA has a Brand Name or Equal requirement to purchase equipment component items and package as Kits for a total of forty-five (45) IED/EOD Training Kits with the salient characteristics provided below.
