Description
RECOVERY: Johnston Ridge Observatory Sidewalk and Curbing Repair The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW, Region 6 has a requirement for the removal of an existing joint sealant in sidewalks, and replacement with approved silicone sealant. Additional work includes the removal of all grass and small shrubs from sidewalks, concrete curbs, edges of rock walls, and the base of concrete walls. Repair rock work as needed with mortar, and repair parking lot curbs with concrete. Pressure wash all concrete sidewalks, concrete curbs, rock walls and other rock features, and all exterior concrete walls at visitor center. Finally, all concrete and rock surfaces that were washed shall have approved sealant applied according to contract/manufactures specification. The contractor shall provide all management and project administration services, quality control, logistical support, vehicles, equipment, materials and supplies required to complete the project on time and within schedule in compliance with drawings and specifications. The period of performance is 60 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated requiring submission of both a technical materials and a price quote. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal offers the best value to the Government. The estimated construction range of magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. This acquisition is full and open competition. Contractors are required to be certified by the Small Business Administration, registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). The solicitation with specifications and wage rates will be posted to the https://www.fbo.gov/ website on or about January 22, 2010. No hard copies of the solicitation and applicable amendments will be mailed or issued. To receive the Request for Proposal package and any applicable amendments, offerors must download them from the https://www.fbo.gov/ website.
