- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, with Alliant Techsystems, Inc. (ATK), 13133 34th Street, North; Clearwater, FL 33762, for supplies and services related to the production, incorporation, and implementation of updates to the Operational Flight Program (OFP) for the AN/AAR-47 Missile Warning Set (MWS). The new OFP will provide AN/AAR-47 effectiveness and AN/AAR-47, AN/APR-39 Radar Signals Detecting Set (RSDS) operator interface updates and the attendant technical data and software. This effort is being awarded on a sole source basis to ATK in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 because ATK is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the reliability and maintainability modification to the AN/AAR-47 and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. In addition, ATK owns the technical data and data rights package for the modified AN/AAR-47. Expressions of interest in subcontracting may be directed to: Nancy Carroll at (727) 572-3211.
