- The U. S. Army, Army Contracting Command (ACC) Joint Munitions and Lethality(JM&L) Contracting Center, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 is conducting market research to locate companies interested in entering into BlanketPurchase Agreements (BPAs) with the U.S. Government. Interested sources should be capable of providing the U.S. Government with quick response services for Picatinny Arsenals Explosive loading facilities. The contractor must be able to provide maintenance, repair, design and installation of the peculiar explosive loading equipment and support equipment in order to meet the Armys testing needs in a quick time frame(less than one month). Service to be performed on the following but not limited to equipment: 10 gallon to 150 gallon Explosives Melt Kettle; Cast Cure Load Station; 4 and 16 Nozzle Explosives Pour Machine; M107/M795 HE Projectile Cooling Oven; HE Projectile Steam Heated Autoclave; Explosives Injection Loading Systems; Sihi Model Lima-20 Vacuum Pumps; Wet Electrostatic Precipitator; Rotary Kiln and Secondary Combustion Chambers; Near Infra Red Inspection System. The source must have the capability to provide all labor, manpower and equipment to perform these services in the explosive loading areas. Capable sources must also have knowledge of Army regulations on Explosive Operations and Explosive Equipment. Companies are invited to indicate their interests and capabilities by providing specifications, brochures, information pertaining to experience on previous projects, specific work previously performed or being performed and any other specific and pertinent information as it pertains to this particular area of procurement that would enhance our evaluation of the information submitted. All information is to be submitted via email at no cost or obligation to the Government; information provided will not be returned. Responses shall also indicate the size of the business entity; large or small IAW FAR 19.102, and a copy of the most recent ORCA certifications. Please provide the name of your company, address, POC, phone/fax number and email address. TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The Government will accept written questions by email. Interested companies are encouraged to submit their capabilities/qualifications data not LATER than January 20, 2010. This is a Sources Sought /Market Survey Announcement and submission will be used for informational and planning purposes only. This notice does not constitute a formal request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quote (RFQ), nor is the Government obligated to issue the RFP/RFQ. In addition, the Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey.
