Description
CHPRC is requesting an "Expression of Interest" from Companies that may be interested in receiving a future Request for Proposal for the work outlined in the linked DRAFT Statement of Work and associated Specifications and Drawings under Prime Contract DE-AC06-08RL14788. The Period of Performance is anticipated to be approximately March 2010 - December 2011. This project is AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) FUNDED PLEASE OPEN ATTACHMENT 1.0 INTRODUCTION / BACKGROUND The Hanford Site is a 586 square mile Federal facility located in southeastern Washington State along the Columbia River. The 200 West Area Pump and Treat Facility Project will be located in the central portion of the Hanford Site in the 200 West and 600 Areas located approximately 34 road miles northwest of Richland, Washington. 2.0 DESCRIPTION OF WORK - GENERAL The 200 West Pump and Treat Facility include the RAD Building, the Bio Process Building, Treatment Pad and all of the ancillary equipment and systems located at the plant site. The Bio Process building (289T) is a clear span LEED Gold, pre-engineered metal building. The RAD Building (289 TA) is a clear span, LEED Guiding Principles, pre-engineered metal building. The Balance of Plant (BOP) consists of two Extraction Transfer Buildings, two Injection Transfer Buildings, 20 extraction wells and the associated yard piping and wellhead facilities. The construction of the Extraction Transfer and Injection Transfer Building foundations, slabs and metal buildings will be performed by others. The Balance of Plant scope for this contract includes providing and installing all interior and exterior equipment, and exterior pavement. 3.0 DESCRIPTION OF WORK - SPECIFIC 3.1 Task 1 CHPRC requires a Contractor to provide and manage all design services, procurement, labor, material, equipment, consumable supplies, first line testing and inspection services, and each and every item necessary to provide complete and ready-for-use facilities in accordance with this SOW, Construction Specifications, Procurement Specifications, Design Drawings and Contract Documents. Labor includes participation of the Contractor's employees in training and medical examinations required by the Contract The following is intended to be broad in scope, identifying major work elements only, and should not be considered all-inclusive. Clearing and grubbing. Site leveling and contouring. Install fire water systems. Install underground building fire, potable water piping and electrical service conduits. Furnish and install concrete grade beams, footings, slabs, sidewalks, ramps, and equipment pads. Furnish and install sump system trench. Furnish and install piping trenches. Furnish and install electrical ground grid system. Furnish and install all electrical systems. Furnish and install service entrance electrical power. Furnish and install lightning protection system. Furnish and install waste drains, holding tank, control system, and piping. Design, furnish and install pre-engineered metal building systems. Furnish and install concrete masonry walls. Furnish and install interior restroom including plumbing, fixtures, flooring, drains and cabinets. Furnish and install all interior walls, windows and doors. Furnish and install metal doors, frames and hardware. Furnish and install exterior windows. Furnish and install electric operated overhead coiling doors. Furnish and install paint coatings. Furnish and install SPC coating. Install GFE Equipment Furnish and install all automation systems. Furnish and install all instrumentation. Furnish and install all HVAC systems. Furnish and install slide gates. Furnish and install process integration systems. Furnish and install all material processing and handling equipment. Furnish and install pollution control equipment. Furnish and install asphaltic concrete pavement.
