- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The work includes constructing a new office building at Bayou Boeuf Lock, Morgan City, Louisiana, demolishing the existing office building as an option, and incidental related work. The new office building shall consist of a hurricane-resistant pile-founded, rigid-frame, brick veneer building with a standing-seam metal roof, approximately 1600 square feet in interior floor area. Water, sewer, telephone, and electric (including fiber-optic) service shall be provided to the building from existing utilities; natural gas service is not included. THIS INFORMATION IS POSTED FOR SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITIES ONLY. PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FROM ANY FIRMS OTHER THAN THOSE IN THE SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN MATOC POOL.
