- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U S Army Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to issue a Name Brand or Equal Request for Proposal (RFP) number MB:10:9365 for a Single Channel Recorders model number REC 111 for use in a liquid chromatography enviroment for the National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center (NBACC). Any firm that believes it can provide the stated capability is invited to submit written notification to the Contracting Specialist within 3 calendar days from the date of this publication notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firms ability to provide the stated capability. Information should be sent electronically to Marvin Bethel, Contracting Specialist, at marvin.bethel@amedd.army.mil. No telephonic requests will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
