- This notice is for project No. 630A4-08-418, Dietetic Re-Therm at the Brooklyn Campus of the New York Harbor Healthcare System, Brooklyn, NY 11209 This shall be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). As a result all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220, and has a size standard of $33.5 Million. The cost estimate range for this project is $500,000 and $1,000,000. The work for this requirement consists of, but is not limited to: removal of the existing re-therm unit (refrigerated walk-in box) and the installation of a new refrigerated walk-in box along with 12 re-therm docking stations. The mechanical work includes but is not limited to revisions to the existing 'house' HVAC system along with the installation of a new exterior wall mounted air cooled condensing unit and associated heat exchanger in a newly constructed mechanical room. The electrical work includes but is not limited to providing the required power and lighting to support the new equipment and layout. The fire protection work includes but is not limited to extending the existing wet sprinkler system as required to support the new layout. The plumbing work includes but is not limited to the removal and relocation of a drinking fountain and sink. Project will involve but not be limited general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, and necessary removal of existing construction and certain other items. All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation will be released on or around January 14, 2010. The bid submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and all bid submissions shall be in hardcopies; faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted. All bidders shall be registered in www.ccr.gov, www.vetbiz.gov, and www.orca.bpn.gov. End of Description
