- This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source: USDA/OCIO/ITS intends to award a contract direct to HP to provide maintenance and support for existing HP software. ITS requires direct support from the manufacturer (no third party providers) in order to meet the specific needs of this requirement. In additional to standard support and maintenance, requirements include: -Updates to OS software and add on purchased software for all systems. -Access to Remote Insight Support. -Direct access to HP website for knowledge based support and patch information/download. -Escalation ability in order to confer with factory representatives. This requirement is estimated at under $200,000.00 per year and the contract period will be for a base period (1/11/2010 - 09/30/2010) with two (one year) Governemnt options.
