- Description
- The Human Resources Management Division at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for temporary services for an Employee Relations Specialist in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The Contractor shall work on the full range of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) employee relations cases, ranging from drafting letters of warning to removal proposals and decisions. The specific tasks pursuant to this effort are described in the Performance Work Statement included in the solicitation (SB1341-10-RQ-0077). It is anticipated that the solicitation for this procurement will be issued on or about January 4, 2010 under FAR Part 12. The Government anticipates an award of a Firm-Fixed Price type Purchase Order as a result of the solicitation. The competitive solicitation, all amendments, and any questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation will only be available via the internet at the above website. Potential Offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. There is no printed solicitation document available. NIST will not maintain a bidder's list. Telephone requests will not be honored; all questions must be submitted in writing via e-mail to jennifer.lohmeier@nist.gov no later than Monday, January 7, 2010, 5:00PM EST. To be eligible for award, Offerors MUST be currently registered with the Central Contractor Registration at www.ccr.gov and have completed its representations and certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541611 and the size standard is $7.0 Million.
