- This is a requirement for the overhaul of the C-130 Aircraft FloatValve. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipmentand all material to accomplish repair, test, packing, preservation andpackaging of the C-130 Aircraft Float Valve. A firm fixed pricerequirements type contract is contemplated. The contract period will beone year with a four-one year options. The items and quantities are asfollows: Item 0001: Overhaul NSN 2915-01-081-6534RK, P/N's 32900-105; Applicableto C-130 aircraft; Basic Year Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ), 80 each;Option I Year BEQ, 80 each; Option II Year BEQ, 80 each; Option III YearBEQ, 80 each; Option IV Year BEQ, 80 each.Item 0002 Over and Above Work; Item 0003 Data IAW DD1423s. Deliveries are to be in accordance with instructions received from theProduction Management Specialist prior to shipment(s): on or before 10each per month beginning 30 days ARO the later of reparable item orfunded order.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS APPLY. For qualification information/sourceapproval requests contact Source Development Office, OC-ALC/BC (405)739-7243. Award will be based on meeting our requirements and cannot bedelayed pending qualifications of additional sources.APPROVED SOURCES are Woodward HT, Rogerson ATS, Airtronics and TexasAerospace Services LTD LLP.The approximate solicitation issue date will be 19 January 2010 closing18 February 2010.PR number is FD2030-10-26953.NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors orpotential offerors during the proposal development phase of thisacquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the program director or contracting officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Whenrequested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as tosource of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in theevaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
