- "RECOVERY ACT" - The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHSC) Contracting Office (90C) anticipates awarding Firm Fixed Price construction contract for the FCA HVAC Phase II - Building 1, Project No. 674A4-09-207, located at the VA Medical Center, 4800 Memorial Drive, Waco, Texas. The method of procurement shall be a Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with Parts 14 and 36 of the FAR, with anticipated issue date on or before Jan 20, 2010 and proposed due date of Feb 24, 2010. Project consists of, but is not limited to; upgrading Building 1 HVAC system in accordance with plans and specifications issued under the terms of the contract. The desired outcomes of the overall project include: (1) Provide distribution trunk line for basement of Building 1 with upgraded heating water generator and related pumping system (2) including all appurtenances and hardware necessary to provide a completely installed, fully tested and functioning system (3) provide asbestos abatement and monitoring for Building 1 crawl space (4 ) an incident free project with respect to safety and patient care issues. Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment necessary to complete all related work in accordance with the specifications. This requirement is a competitive offer, Set Aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), under Public Law 109-461 (38 USC 8127). The applicable NAISC code is 238220, $14 Mil. Cost Range: $500,000.00 - $1,000,000.00
