- Description
- The Chalmers P. Wylie Ambulatory Care Center, Columbus, Ohio (VISN 10) intends to solicit for Inpatient Health Care services. The purpose of this contract will be to provide Inpatient Health Care services to authorized and referred Veterans for the full episodes of care in accordance with the provisions of Public Law 104-262; United States Code (U.S.C) Title 38, Section 8153, Enhanced Sharing Authority. These services are to be provided to authorized Veterans who are referred by the Department of Veterans Affairs Chalmers P. Wylie Ambulatory Care Center, Columbus, Ohio. The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, facilities, equipment, supplies, pharmaceuticals, and other items and expertise necessary for, or incident to the provision of authorized services. The contractor shall be located no further than 35 miles beyond the Interstate 270 Beltway. The electronic solicitation shall be released on or before March 8, 2010 and may be downloaded from the following URL: http://www.fbo.gov/. The solicitation number is VA-250-10-RP-0017. The procurement is for full and open competition, with no set-aside. Based on the number of responsible offerors, and VA needs, single or multiple awards may result from this solicitation. Answer: This information will be provided in the solicitation. 3. Is there an opportunity to give a company briefing of our capabilities? Answer: If potential vendors are interested they will need to submit proposals. 4. What is the period of performance (e.g. 1 year base four options)? Answer: This will be addressed with the release of the solicitation. 5. Will potential offerrors need to check the fbo.gov website in order to find out about the solicitation when it is released, or will the VA be giving us a "heads up?"
