- BRAND NAME JUSTIFICATION IAW 11.105 Product is Archer Daniels Midland #163-160. The product is entirely finely ground soy bean. However, the soy is toasted to a specific level and that level of toasting has been found to produce the best results when used as food for our fruit fly larvae. This study was conducted by by a CPHST scientist years ago and of all the products tested at the time, the ADM #163-160, was found to produce the best results.
