- The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Pacific Procurement Division is issuing this sources sought synopsis to determine if there are small business firms who may be interested in proposing for a design-build construction project to renovate and expand a kitchen facility at Guam High School located in a military base on the island of Guam. Kitchen equipment that will need to be purchased by the contractor to support this project are the following: 2 convection steamers; 1 40-gallon steam jacketed kettle; 2 convection ovens; 1 tilting skillet; 1 open range burner; and, 1 combination walk-in cooler/freezer. If your firm is interested in proposing for this requirement, please email your company profile with a description of your past and/or current design-build construction projects, including dollar value of each project. State in your profile the manufacturer/brand/model of kitchen equipment you would procure, and if possible, include a picture or brochure of the proposed kitchen equipment. Also, state whether your firm has completed construction projects on the island of Guam. Please email your company profile to mary.harding@pac.dodea.edu as soon as possible (preferably by 06 Jan 2010). Should this procurement materialize based on the information ascertained from this synopsis, the RFP may be issued on or about 10 February 2010 and will be a trade-off source selection acquisition in accordance with FAR 15 and 36.
