- The Aviation Applied Technology Directorate of the US Army Research, Development and Engineering Command proposes to procure five each Dell Laptop Workstations, NSN E4300; one Dell Laptop Workstation, NSN E6400; three each Dell Laptop Workstations, NSN M4400; two each Dell Laptop Workstations, NSN M6400; four each Dell Mouse units, NSN 330-1171; four each Dell Keyboards, NSN 310-8021; and three each Dell Port Replicators, NSN 430-3113. These computer workstations will support data processing, planning, and training software in a portable system that will be required to fulfill remote site flight testing and must meet Directorate of Information Management requirements of Vista loaded systems. Market research has indicated that one company can meet this requirement. We intend to award a FAR Part 12 commercial order to Dell Federal Systems, L.P., 1 Dell Way, Round Rock, TX 78682-7000, which is the only known manufacturer that can satisfy agency requirements. Dell Federal Systems meets the qualification requirements for award. A single firm fixed price contract is anticipated. Delivery of these items is intended for the Aviation Applied Technology Directorate (AATD), Fort Eustis, Virginia, within one week of award. Inspection/Acceptance and FOB Point are destination, AATD, Fort Eustis, Virginia. This procurement will be solicited, evaluated, and awarded using FAR Part 12 procedures. This requirement is under the NAICS code 334111, Electronic Computer Manufacturing. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to this procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this requirement and submitting a quote. Existing product literature generally available in industry should be submitted with your quote. All responsible sources that submit an offer will be considered. Alpha contracting methods with Dell Federal Systems will be utilized. A solicitation document is not available.
