Description

RECOVERY - This Sources Sought Notice is issued under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and is for information and planning purposes only and shall NOT be construed as a solicitation. The requested information shall be utilized to assist the National Park Service (NPS) in determining if the acquisition should be set-aside and if so what type of set-aside should be used. The NPS is seeking interested sources for the construction of a micro-hydro electric plant in Yellowstone National Park, Mammoth, Wyoming. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 237990. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $33.5M. The estimated price range is between $1M & $5M. Anticipated solicitation issuance: February 2010.Anticipated contract award: May 2010. Bonding: 100% performance & payments bonds will be required. The NPS is requesting that General Contractors experienced in constructing micro-hydro electric plants submit the following information by no later than close of business Friday January 8, 2010. Submittals shall be no more than 2 pages in length.
