- Recovery - Project 578-09-110 AE Design to Replace Lower Roof, Bldg. #200 at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital, Hines Illinois. This is for informational purposes only to identify that this project will be added to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) project list and will receive ARRA funding. This project was originally advertised in Federal Business Opportunities May 15, 2009 utilizing "full and open" competition procedures, see link: https://www.fbo.gov/index?s=opportunity&mode=form&id=a105872124354e102b1eea296b4aea9c&tab=core&_cview=0. Under AE procurement/evaluation procedures, three firms were selected from the respondents and interviews were held July 30, 2009. Due to the unavailability of local funding after the interviews, the project was put on hold until recently when it was approved for ARRA funding. We are in the process of finalizing the award with the top rated firm.
