Description
Midwest Major Buying Acquisition Office (MWRO MABO) of the National Park Service is conducting a MARKET SURVEY to determine the interest and capability of sources, including HUBZone, 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small business firms, and any firm eligible to compete in full and open competition with the ability to provide support and maintenance for a RS2 Technologies building access management system network. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. ALL COST ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION AS REQUESTED BY THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR. Project Description: The National Park Service is conducting a Market Survey for a possible future fixed price contract for a base year and four 1-year option years for service, maintenance, installation, upgrade and testing of RS2 Technologies access management system to include AccessIt! Software, system control processors, interface modules, communication packages, readers, cards, enclosures, and accessories which interface with building security systems and remote monitoring station and any other type of security equipment; provide certified technicians at all times and other personnel, equipment, tools, transportation, diagnostic equipment, parts, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to maintain a fully operational twenty-four (24) hours per day system. Location: National Park Service facility in Omaha, NE. The NAICS code is 561621, small business size standard is $12.5 million. Responses to this Market Survey are requested from (1) SBA certified small business HubZone firms; (2) small business firms certified by a Small Business Administration (SBA) district or regional office for participation in the 8(a) program; (3) service-disabled veteran-owned smallbusiness firms; and (4) any firm eligible to compete in full and open competition. Any information submitted is voluntary. If sufficient interest and capability is not received from firms in categories (1) through (3) above to determine that the award of this project can be solicited under the respective set-aside categories and awarded at a fair market price, any solicitation that may be issued may be issued as unrestricted without further consideration. Interested firms (regardless of size) must submit (1) name and address of firm, (2) type of business (i.e. small business, small disadvantaged 8(a) certified, woman-owned small business, small disadvantaged (not 8(a) certified), service disabled veteran-owned small business, large business), (3) point of contact: name, title, phone, and e-mail, (4) DUNS number, (5) NAICS code, (6) percent of work the contractor can commit to accomplishing this service with in-house (not subcontracted) labor if awarded the contract, (7) Contactor's CAPABILITY STATEMENT - should summarize experience and knowledge relative to the following general areas: list of customers covering the past 8 years: highlight relevant work including a summary of work performed, contract number, contract type, dollar value for each customer, customer point of contact with phone number and e:mail address, and identify your role as either the Prime or Subcontractor. All responses must be submitted via email NLT February 1, 2010 @ 11:00 am CST to the following email address: tina_spengler@nps.gov The subject line of the email must state: Response to announcement number AMWROSS1111. This is NOT a request for proposal and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market survey. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Any solicitation that may be issued will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website and no paper copies will be provided. The Government is not required to issue a solicitation.
