- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Pekin, Illinois, intends to issue RFQP04111000006 for the project entitled Fuel Containment Monitoring System at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Pekin, Illinois. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract. The successful contractor will be required to furnish and install a new Veeder Root TLS-450(or equivalent) containment monitoring system, a compatible fuel management system, and two new compatible fuel dispensers. The magnitued of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be available on or about January 22, 2010 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides downloading instructions to obtain all documents relating to this solicitation. All amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the website to ensure they have the most current information about the acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about February 26, 2010. The NAICS is 237120 and the size standard is $33,500,000. This is a 100% small business set-aside. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
