Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. MONTANA NATIONAL GUARD W9124V-10-T-4008 REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR WEAPONS STORAGE ARMS VAULT This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Funds are not presently available for this acquisition. No contract will be made until appropriated funds are made available. The NAICS code is 332995 and the size standard is less than 500 employees. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26, Effective 1 June 2008 & Class Deviation 2005-00001. Offers shall propose a firm fixed price for one Weapons Storage Arms Vault FOB Billings, MT, 59106. Statement of Work: 1.Delivery will be to Fort Harrison (Field Maintenance Shop (FMS) #6, 5043 Neibauer Road, Billings, Montana 59106). 2.Weapon Storage Arms Vault to provide weapons storage and maintenance for the eastern MTOE units supported by FMS #6 depending on funds available. 3.The Weapon Storage Arms Vault must meet the following requirements: a. Length 20 ft b. Width 10 ft c. Height 10 ft Inside Area 177 sq. ft Cubic Feet 1625 cu. Ft Approximate Weight 31,000 lbs Note 10 height required in order to double stack weapons racks 4.Name brand or equivalent to Armag Corporation Model #240120120-A. 5.Must meet manufactured military specification NSWC 3046-93-2. 6.Must have intrusion detection system consisting of Europlex Model 2064NG Control Panel to be consistent with all IDS security systems installed in all facility vaults around the state. Sensors will include a Balance Magnetic Switch, Passive Infrared Motion, 360 Vibration Sensors, Smoke Detector, Duress Switch, tamper switches, and external siren. 7.Inside Vault Storage requirements: a. Weapons Racks for: 50 M4 20 Pistols 10 M249 6 M2 5 M240 4 MK19 b. Wooden Workbench (30 x 60) c. Storage Cabinets (30 x 24 x 72) 8. Appropriate tags and warning labels shall be affixed where necessary for safety and ease of operation. 9. A minimum of one operators manual shall be delivered with the system containing information on operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and replacement parts. 10. Service Requirements: a. In the event of manufacturer defect, must be able to respond within 48 hours. b. Parts for repair need to be available within 48 hours. 11.Testing and Warranty: All equipment shall be factory assembled, thoroughly tested and backed with a minimum one-year limited warranty. The warranty period shall be for one-year regardless of usage on the system. 12. Training: The manufacturer is asked to provide equipment training upon delivery. 13. Bid must include shipping and delivery fees. Provisions: The provision of 52.212-3 Alt I, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (April 2002) applies to this RFQ. 52.212-3 Alt I clause needs to be completed and a signed copy of this provision shall be submitted with any offer. 52.212-2, Evaluation-- Commercial Items (January 1999). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will represent the best value to the Government. The best value determination will be made by evaluating the contractors offer based the technical specifications and price. Should similar items of equivalent technical specifications be quoted, the determining factor shall be price.
