- Description
- The Internal Revenue Service intends to award a sole source purchase order, using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items (FAR Part part 13.5), to Verbalocity, Inc. 6534 Western Way Bulverde, TX 78163-4190. The IRS will procure 5 videos, led by Mr. Clint Swindall, which focus on employee engagement and roles and responsibilities of employees in the workplace. The period of performance for this contract is 01/06/2010 to 01/05/2011. Unlimited licensing will be procured for each of these videos. Lunch and learn sessions will be led by Mr. Swindall with the purpose of discussing his theories of employee engagement that are found in his book:” Engaged Leadership: Building a Culture to Overcome Employee Disengagement”. Mr. Swindall and Verbalocity, Inc. (his company) does not permit an outside company or individual to license or train others based on his ideas and thoughts. The author of the work represents the best source in disseminating information on the subject text, in addition to producing videos and leading training sessions based upon the work. Therefore, the IRS intends to solicit only one source under the Authority of FAR 6.302-1-"Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". All responses received by January 05, 2010 will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition.
