- Description
- The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, proposes to contract the dockside repairs of USCGC ALEX HALEY (WMEC - 39), a 282' Medium Endurance Cutter, home moorage in Kodiak, AK. All work shall be at the cutter's home moorage during the period of 25 May 2010 through 20 August 2010. Work items include and are not limited to: Tanks (Ballast) Clean & Inspect; SPD Davit Pedestal Replacement; Flight Deck Preserve; Tanks (F/O Service) Clean & Inspect. On or about 14 January 2010, a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This will be a Total Small Business Set-aside procurement. Only 100% certified small business contractors may submit a proposal. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 336611 with a size standard of less than 1,000 employees. The solicitation, specifications and other pertinent information will be posted at www.fbo.gov. A drawing CD may be requested via email to Jennifer.m.stock@uscg.mil.
